Hardy Boy to the Dog Rescue…

tom hardy animal rescue movieIt looks like one of The Hardy Boys — make that Tom Hardy (star of Warrior and Inception) — is going to crack a lost dog case in a new movie called Animal Rescue, which is based on a short story by Dennis Lehane (author of Mystic River).

Lehane himself recently happened to have a reward out for his own missing dog in real life, a pretty Beagle named Tessa. (Yahoo)

Hitler’s Talking Dogs?

Historians knew that Hitler loved art — but in a 2011 New York Times column by Maureen Dowd, she discusses Dr. Jan Bondeson’s book, Amazing Dogs, in which he reveals that Hitler once supported a German school to teach large mastiffs to talk to humans. Luckily, it didn’t work — considering Adolf’s atrocious background, I can’t imagine those dogs were treated very well.

Of course, nowadays, everybody knows the world’s most famous canine blabber is Youtube’s Mishka the Talking Dog
